Prescription Guidelines
How we handle prescriptions so that your medicines are dispensed safely and legally.
When a prescription is required
Prescription-only medicines, including Schedule H and Schedule H1 drugs, are dispensed only against a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner. Over-the-counter products and general wellness items do not need one.
What makes a prescription valid
- It carries the doctor name, registration number and signature or stamp.
- It shows the patient name and the date it was issued.
- The medicines, strength and quantity are clearly legible.
- It is recent, as older prescriptions may not be accepted for some medicines.
How to upload
Upload a clear photo or scan of the prescription using the Upload Prescription page. Make sure the whole page is visible and the text is readable.
Pharmacist verification
A pharmacist reviews every prescription before the order is confirmed. If something is unclear, we may contact you to confirm details. Orders that need a prescription are not dispensed until it has been verified.
Important
We cannot dispense prescription medicines without a valid prescription, and we may decline an order if the prescription is incomplete, unclear or not valid. Never share or reuse a prescription meant for someone else.
